Finding your dream home can be exciting--that's usually how most people envision buying one. Touring properties, making an offer, and hearing back "yes" from sellers often feels like the final step, but in truth this is only part of the journey.
Time after time, buyers tell me, "the offer part was fine, but once we were in escrow everything felt chaotic." And, to be fair, that statement can quickly turn into reality; Escrow can quickly become the most stressful aspect of buying real estate as unexpected issues surface during inspections or appraisals appear with surprises and contingency deadlines arrive faster than anticipated, leaving buyers to scramble like an Olympian trying to manage all these plates spinning around at once.
No one needs the added stress and headache of dealing with contracts alone, which is why having someone calm and experienced by your side makes such a difference. My role extends far beyond simply writing contracts; my main purpose is guiding you through each inspection, appraisal, deadline with clear updates and quick actions plans. I keep an eye out for details, coordinate among all moving parts involved and preempt potential problems before they become issues in your hands.
Escrow doesn't have to be an unpleasant process. With the right person guiding the process, escrow can be an enjoyable journey towards its end--making that moment when I give you your keys even sweeter knowing that we shared in any burdens along the way.
